Construction in Science

In science, we are learning how to build things.

This is my table and chairs, just using paper and tape.

Rory (grade 3)

One more thing to be thankful for

We talked about things we are thankful for.  This is our tree of Thanksgiving!
Colton (grade 3)

Hand and foot turkey

I made this turkey for Thanksgiving !!!!

I used my feet for the body and my hands for the feathers.

Rose (grade 2)

Katana (gr 6) gets Pooh?

Mr. Orr gives us POOH when the class is good.  He gives it to us when we get something right.  I think he is trying to get in the Halloween spirit, so if you are not in the Halloween spirit, go to Mr. Orr.
(Can you guess what's in the can?)

JR Girls volleyball hit the road!

What a fabulous weekend we had! The junior girls volleyball team went to Peace River for their first tournament. They played hard and almost won a few matches. The girls had a great weekend of bonding and laughing as well as the adults.  Thank you to our generous sponsors WK ventures, Barb and James Mitchell, Bill and Kathy Warren, and the DeSmet family.  Thank you also to Miss Taylor and Brandy DeSmet for volunteering their time to make this team a reality!

Grade 3/4 Social Studies

We are learning about India, Tunisia, Peru and Ukraine in Social Studies this year. We are learning about them so we can know about different people and places. We colored the flags of those countries to learn what their flags look like. Do you know which flag belongs to each country?
