The Art of Art Appreciation

This semester we have art class with Miss Morton. It is really fun. We have done many activities like sketching still life and sketching self-portraits. We have also learned about all of the different types of lines you can use when you are drawing. Our latest unit is painting. Right now we are doing research on the Group of Seven who were the first group of famous painters from Canada. We each have chosen one of their pictures and are trying to recreate it.

  The picture that I chose was painted by AJ Casson. It is called “Farm House”.

My 4-H Speech

My speech at 4H was about cars.  I like cars, that’s why I wrote about them.  There are fast cars and slow cars.  I prefer the fast cars.  Specifically, the white or green Chevy Camaro.  I enjoyed my speech but I didn’t get in the top three spots.  I think it was good though.
